The following is posted on an eBay review/guide by a seller who is irked because one of our Design Associates deemed a bag she was selling - fake.
DO NOT USE "authenticate4u.com" as they are a brand new UNreputable website that has not established a solid reputation and believe the authenticators (qualified or not) are also the same tPF members that suggest using them. There are other legitimate websites who give honest evaluations like the ones listed above who are NOT found to be affiliated with tPF members which makes them ebay/paypal qualified to give their opinion. While authenticate4u.com obviously cannot be considered as a "unbiased 3rd party opinion" and is brand new. So they have NOT yet established any type of reliable business rep so if your going to go as far as paying to have something authenticated, why spend any amount to have an obviously influenced opinion from an unreputable, unestablished, brand new online service who should not be qualified by ebay/paypal since evidence shows that they are NOT a TRULY unbiased 3rd party opinion who has been in business long enough for anyone at the purse forum to give their opinion.
I would like to point out that Authenticate4U.com are NOT a brand new website, but that we were founded in July 2010. We are also VERY reputable, and our documents are accepted by eBay and PayPal worldwide. This is NOT in doubt.
Our Design Associates (authenticators) MAY have authenticated on the Purse Forum, and some may still - BUT - the Design Associate who deemed the review/guide owners item fake - is NOT a tPF authenticator.
The guide/review goes on to list 4 Authentication Services who are NOT affiliated to tPF members. The guide/review is INCORRECT in its information - once more!
The fact that the statements made in connection with Authenticate4U.com are libellous is both annoying and frustrating. At Authenticate4U.com we strive to ensure that we provide a great service for our clients - and we go that extra mile for each and every one of them. We are a bona fide Service, with completely checkable references, and we are always able to speak with clients as and when they need.
In posting the information in this guide/review - I am merely wishing to point out that the facts therein are INCORRECT, they are LIBELLOUS and Authenticate4U.com have an EXCELLENT REPUTATION. We have NOTHING to hide, and we are happy to offer full disclosure.
What we DO object to is lies and innuendo - that is a lowball attempt to discredit us.
At Authenticate4U.com we will ALWAYS provide an honest Service - and we are an independently owned business and are a totally UNBIASED THIRD PARTY Authentication Service.

I'd like to point out a few things with regard to our Contract of Service.
When a client contacts us and requires a Service, they are required to pay in advance. Once this is received, along with the relevant information and photos, we set to work by collating the details and sending to our appropriate Design Associate.
We have, unfortunately, found that one of our Design Associates has been admitted to hospital very unexpectedly and is undergoing surgery. We wish her well. However, given this, its rather difficult for her to evaluate any items at present. This being the case - ONE client who is awaiting an Extract has been made aware of the issue, and has been refunded for the Service. In this particular Brand, we do only have one Design Associate. The client, rightly so, is annoyed, and to be fair, we are frustrated also. HOWEVER, at Authenticate4U.com we can ONLY provide a Service when the Design Associate appropriate to that Brand is able to evaluate the item. We CANNOT and WILL NOT provide ANY Service, which is merely based on a clients 'feeling' that the item is fake. This would be both unprofessional and unwarranted.
A Contract of Service is something which we value, but in providing the Client with a FULL REFUND - this does negate the Contract, and whilst it is a most unfortunate scenario - we cannot be held liable in these unfortunate instances. This scenario is totally outwith our control.
Please do remember that at Authenticate4U.com we ARE NOT a 'one man band' and we ONLY use Design Associates who are expert and highly experienced in their chosen Design Brand. Our Service is highly professional, and successful - and we WILL NOT, at any point, jeopardise our reputation nor our integrity by attempts to 'brow beat' us into providing a Service without a true and proper evaluation.

We were asked today - 'Are your authentications guaranteed?' Our reply - as with everything in life - NOTHING is completely guaranteed. However, we would like to point out that each of our Design Associates has years of experience, have in most cases, a large collection of their chosen Design Brand, and several others! Are very much ANTI-FAKE, and as such - we have the utmost confidence in their abilities.
Authentication by photographs IS possible, and that is why when we receive a request for authentication/evaluation, we ensure that we are given the BEST photos possible, taken in good natural light, and showing each and every one of the important points of the item - We may seem anal at times - but it is this which ensures that we are giving the best Service possible. The photos are our 'eyes'.
If a client buys from an auction listing, there are clearly photos of the item included. However, clients must bear in mind that the item they receive may NOT be the one in those listing photos. Likewise - the listing photos may show the item to be a fake, without question - irrespective of what the seller says/thinks/instills upon you. Sellers need to be aware that when a buyer receives an item - and thinks it is fake, they have a right to question that. Its at that point we generally find we are contacted. We ensure that we check each item very very carefully, and what we don't expect is for a seller to say about our Services 'they can't guarantee their authentications/evaluations by photos only'. That is NOT the case - and specifically not when the item is a very obvious fake.
Our Service is professional and sound, and if required, we are happy to assist with an 'in house' authentcation.
We are gaining a very good reputation worldwide, with PayPal recommending us.
Therefore - as said - nothing in life is every totally guaranteed - but our Design Associates are of the highest calibre, and as such, will only ever authenticate an item when they are sure that it is authentic. Fakes are fakes - and some are 'no brainers', some are good and some are superfakes. However - sellers need to be aware that by intimidating buyers - they really do themselves little favour - and it will certainly NOT turn a fake bag into authentic. We rather feel that sellers should keep their own houses in order. Sell fake - you MAY be caught out - depends on your buyer - but if your item IS fake - then if we, at Authenticate4u.com are asked for an evaluation - you can bet your life - we'll spot it.
